Auto insurance in Littleton, Colorado
Your auto policy should reflect your life: the car you drive, who drives it, what you owe on it, and how much risk you want to carry. We shop it across carriers so you do not have to.

Built around your car, your driving, and your budget
Good auto insurance balances what you want with what you need. We start with Colorado's legal requirements, then tailor the plan to your preferred deductible and liability limits, your vehicle's value, and any auto loan or lease requirements.
- Liability limits that protect your assets, not just the state minimum.
- Comprehensive and collision matched to your car's value and your lender's rules.
- Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, which protects you when the other driver cannot pay.
- Teen drivers, classic cars, and multi-vehicle households handled with the right carrier for each.
The bundle most people miss
One of the biggest savings opportunities is bundling your home or renters policy with your auto insurance. In many cases the multi-policy discount lowers your auto premium enough to offset much of the cost of a renters policy. We check this for every client.
Colorado minimum auto insurance requirements
Colorado law requires every driver to carry at least $25,000 bodily injury liability per person, $50,000 bodily injury liability per accident, and $15,000 property damage liability per accident (often written as 25/50/15). Carriers must also offer medical payments and uninsured motorist coverage, which you can only decline in writing.
State minimums are a floor, not a recommendation. A single serious accident can exceed them quickly, leaving your savings and future income exposed. We will show you what higher limits actually cost, which is often less than people expect.
What to do after an accident
- Stay calm and check for injuries. Do not move an injured person unless they are in immediate danger.
- Move your vehicle only if it is blocking traffic, and do not leave the scene.
- Do not assign blame, including to yourself. Give your full account only to the investigating officer.
- Exchange information with the other driver and photograph plates and damage.

Common questions
How much auto insurance does Colorado require?
Colorado requires minimum liability coverage of $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident for bodily injury, plus $15,000 per accident for property damage. Most drivers benefit from higher limits, since medical bills and vehicle repair costs can exceed the minimums quickly.
What does "full coverage" actually mean?
"Full coverage" is an informal term most people use to describe a policy that adds comprehensive and collision to liability.
- Comprehensive covers damage from theft, vandalism, fire, falling objects, flooding, hail, and hitting an animal.
- Collision covers damage from a collision with another vehicle or object, or from rolling over.
It does not mean every possible loss is covered, so it is worth reviewing your policy's exclusions and deductibles with us.
Is anyone who drives my car covered by my policy?
Generally, coverage follows the car, so a licensed driver using your vehicle with permission is typically covered under your policy. Any at-fault accident they cause may affect your premium. Household members who drive regularly should be listed on the policy.
Why isn't my car being repaired with OEM parts?
Your policy is designed to restore your vehicle to its condition before the loss. Because the car did not have brand new parts at the time, insurers often pay for comparable aftermarket or used parts. Most repair shops will let you choose OEM parts and pay the difference.
Will bundling my home and auto insurance save money?
Usually, yes. Most carriers offer a multi-policy discount when home or renters and auto are written together, and having one carrier handle a loss that involves both can make claims simpler.
